If you want to learn the basics of climbing on ice and snow, then this is the course for you. With crampons and ice axes, we go through the basics of how to assess the strength of the ice, climbing technique, belaying in ice and much more. After completing the course, you should be able to safely climb ice on your own. The course is held according to the Swedish Climbing Association's standard.
Educational goals : - Ice knowledge – Climbing technique on ice – Anchoring and belaying in ice – Rope team work (first and second man)
